Toyota introduces Limited Edition Corolla Altis Aero
Celebrates the Corolla Altis's 10th Anniversary with the introduction of a new Limited Edition model priced at Rs 11.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)

Big on space, high on comfort and a best in class fuel economy are defining elements of the decade old Toyota Corolla Altis, that over time has truly evolved into a unique mainstream luxury passenger car that boats of many vices, and few grouches.
But, while offering a great ownership experience overall, the Corollas’ popularity over a sustained period has made it rampant on our roads, resulting in the car losing any sort of exclusivity in terms of its on road presence and persona. So to commemorate its successful 10 year stint in India, Toyota has now added a personal touch to the decade old car, and introduced it as an all new Limited Edition Aero model, only 500 of which will be on sale till September 2012.
With design cues that clearly borrow from traditional aerodynamic styling, this limited edition Altis Aero model will feature an all new front bumper and a rear spoiler with LED. Smoked Halogen Headlamps and Rear Combination Lamps, a new chrome finish Muffler Cutter and dual tone seats with a special Aero Logos are interior and exterior styling elements that shall remain unique to the Altis Aero; and that’s not all. The limited edition model will also be available to customers in two exclusive colours, namely Silver Mica Metallic and Black Mica.
Commenting on the launch of this commemorative edition of the Corolla Altis, Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director, Marketing, TKM, said “We are delighted to announce the launch of the all new Corolla Altis Aero, on the occasion of, the completion of ten successful years, in India. Corolla Altis has become a very popular brand and has catered to happy and satisfied customers through the years.”
Based on the existing J Grade 1.8 L Petrol variant with Euro IV certified emissions, the new limited edition Corolla Altis Aero is being introduced in a petrol variant only.
Toyota will however consider bringing out a diesel variant as well, if it sees a strong response towards the SE petrol model that has now gone on sale. Priced at Rs 11.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) the vehicle is on display at Toyota dealerships across India.
