Toyota has introduced a new limited edition version of the Innova called the Innova Aero. Based on the existing GX trim, the Innova Aero is available in both seven- and eigh-seater options and is priced at Rs 12.25 lakh and Rs 12.30 lakh respectively.
So what’s new in the Innova with the aero kit? Nothing really, except for a few exterior cosmetic tweaks such as dual-tone chin spoiler, roof and rear spoilers, body-coloured side skirt, and an Aero emblem to set it apart from the standard variants. The Innova Aero comes in two exclusive shades – Super White and Silver Mica Metallic – to further enhance its ‘exclusivity’.
Those keen on buying the Innova Aero editions will have to rush as only 1,200 units are on sale and that too till December 2012.
The Innova is not the only vehicle from the Toyota stable to come with a limited edition offering. In June 2012, the Japanese car maker had launched the limited edition Corolla Altis Aero to celebrate the midsized sedan’s 10th anniversary. Similarly, in late July, Toyota rolled out a limited-edition Liva TRD Sportivo to mark the hatchback’s first anniversary. So what’s next – a limited-edition Fortuner and Camry, perhaps? Anything’s possible; just remember you read it here first!
