The special edition Nissan Micra Primo packs in additional accessories but for a price
With the festive season around the corner, manufacturers are doing everything it takes to boost sales as usual. Nissan’s attempt to exploit this opportunity comes in the form of the special edition Nissan Micra Primo. The Micra Primo comes with additional accessories to shore up its appeal though with an extra Rs. 22,000 slapped onto the normal on-road price.
The special edition Primo trim is available across four variants of the Nissan Micra, namely the XL, XV petrol variants and XV, XV Premium diesel variants.
In Primo trim, the Nissan Micra gets a double DIN Kenwood stereo with USB and Bluetooth connectivity, turn indicators on the outside rear view mirrors, rear parking sensors and ‘Primo’ body decals on the sides.
The Nissan Micra is a successful model worldwide and is known for its capable nature in urban environs owing to its excellent driveability, reliable nature and its spacious interiors. However, the pricing is high compared to the equipment offered.
In India, the Nissan Micra competes with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Ritz, Hyundai i10, Tata Indica Vista, Renault Pulse and the Maruti Suzuki Swift.

@ Kinshuk 1) Nissan Micra is the only model in that segment to offer driver airbag even in base variant. Top variant have dual airbag.2) Top petrol variant of Micra comes with ABS.3) This is a welcome move from Nissan to boost sales during festive season

Wow.. great.. a micra with even lesser VFM. Micra would have finally been a more sensible product if Nissan hadn't raised the price.

No ABS and passenger airbags even on top end variant , actually there was no need to introduce new music system as even old once was awesome, cabin is airy feeling to it because of beige and big window shield , equipment list is not pretty great for the amount being charged to its customers - Figo and Punto has better listings and security measures too but dCi motor is extremely capable and punchy to drive
