Mahindra Launches the Xylo 'Celebration Edition'

In order to commemorate the Xylo's second anniversary in the market, Mahindra and Mahindra have now introduced a 'Celebration Edition'.

Ever the since the Mahindra Xylo made its market debut in January 2009, it has managed to garner up rather decent sales numbers thanks to it being a great value for money proposition. In fact it also won the coveted ET ZigWheels MUV of the Year Award, and has lived up to being a rugged people's carrier with elan. Now, having completed two years in the market, Mahindra has taken the lead in offering a 'Celebration Edition' which, according to the company, is a luxury version of this bestselling MUV. Mahindra will only roll out 1000 units of this variant in order to keep with its exclusivity.

 

The Celebration Edition is available in a special Walnut Brown paint job and specially designed body graphics that are limited only to this edition. Mahindra has also placed a specially designed crest emblem on various places on the vehicle in order to mark it as different from the rest of the Xylo variants available in the market. The other exterior enhancements include the blue vision lamps and ski rack on the roof.

 

Inside the limited edition variant, you will find a center bezel finished in high gloss. The arm rests, door trims and gear knob insert have also been crafted to look more up market. Adding to this is the generous use of leather on the upholstery which boasts of a perforated finish and saddle stitch for durability.

 

In terms of utility, the Xylo Celebration Edition comes fitted with a special inverter that allows the user to plug in a 3-pin plug and use devices such as lap tops, phone chargers and other small appliances with reasonable ease.

 

Apart  from this, The Celebration Edition also comes fitted will all the gizmos, safety devices and seat folding wizardry available on the E8 variant. Priced at Rs.9.06 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi), the Celebration Edition is definitely worth considering if you happen to be in the market for a decent MUV.
