India Yamaha Motor has launched limited editions of its best-selling FZ-S and Fazer bikes. Changes on the 150cc bikes are merely cosmetic. They now come in a new blue and silver colour combo, stylish graphics and a special limited-edition logo. All else, including engine specs, remains unchanged. Both Yamaha FZ-S and Fazer are powered by a 153cc, 14PS engine mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Yamaha is targeting youngsters, who are the major customers of both the bikes. The limited edition FZ-S and the Fazer is priced at Rs 73,030 and Rs 78,130 respectively, both prices ex-showroom Delhi.

The two ‘new’ offerings are expected to further boost sales for Yamaha in the festive season. The company reported a 5 per cent rise in sales in October 2012 compared to the same period a year ago. Related: Yamaha Sales figure for October 2012
