Jaguar XF 2.0-litre petrol launched in India

Jaguar India has officially launched the Jaguar XF with its smallest and most frugal 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine. The introduction of this engine marks an important milestone in Jaguar India’s history, as now for the first time, every single model and variant available in the Jaguar portfolio internationally is also available in India.

The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces peak power of 241PS and peak torque of 340Nm making it serious competition to the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Jaguar India also claims fuel economy figures of 10.8 kmpl, while 0-100kmph is dispensed off in a mere 7.9 seconds with a restricted top speed of 250kmph.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rohit Suri, Vice President, Jaguar Land Rover, India said, “The Jaguar XF 2.0L petrol engine is a definite head turner and an excellent sedan that combines elegant design, luxurious style and classy appeal. Jaguar XF has been our most popular premium sedan model in India and is well received and appreciated by our customers.”

The Jaguar XF 2.0-litre petrol comes standard with features like a sunroof, a TV-Tuner capable infotainment system with built in navigation and a full-size spare wheel. The most attractive feature of the Jaguar XF, the beautiful sculpted body too remains unchanged making it one of the most beautiful 4-door saloons available in India today.
