Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has introduced a new VX(O) grade in the Honda City range. The new grade is positioned over the existing Honda City VX grade in Manual Transmission in both petrol & diesel. The new Honda City VX(O) variant gets fitted with an Audio Visual Navigation(AVN) system. The newly introduced touch screen AVN system in the Honda City features a large 15.7cm touchscreen which would have satellite-based voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, and complete in-car entertainment. The new Honda City VX(O) variant will be the new top of the line variant in the City family. Other features of the AVN system include DVD/CD Playback, Bluetooth, USB, AUX, i-POD, MP3, FM/ AM etc.
The AVN system also doubles up as a display for the rear parking camera. It also gets equipped with an integrated hands-free Bluetooth connectivity that lets the user sync their phones with it and implement functions on screen including dialling, answering, history, address book and Bluetooth music play. The Honda City VX(O) gets newly introduced Security Alarm feature and two Transmitter Keys facilitating keyless entry which will now be available from S grade onwards. The Honda City will be now available in a new shade of White Orchid Pearl.
