Ford launches New Classic Titanium Variant
Packed with newer segment leading features, nice exterior touches and a more premium interior fit and finish, the new Classic Titanium Petrol variant is priced at Rs. 6,86,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the more expensive Titanium Diesel is priced at Rs. 7,82,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

A few months prior to ushering in its globally renowned ‘kinetically designed’ Fiesta model into the burgeoning C segment last year, Ford made a clever move by rebadging its older Fiesta model as the Fiesta Classic.
This not only helped Ford create a separate identity for its already well recognized mass market sedan that has been on sale in India for a few years now, but also cleared the path for a newer generation model that aspired to once again cash in on the reliability and performance attributes that have now become synonymous with brand Fiesta.
The older model, which Ford will now market simply as the Classic (no Fiesta badging) continues to sell by the dozen and looking to further enhance the overall look and feel of this experienced C segment player, Ford has just introduced an all new Classic Titanium variant.
Exterior upgrades like a handsome black front grille, body-coloured ORVMs’, and a new alloy wheel design are instantaneously recognizable on the new Titanium variant. As the new top-end variant of the Ford Classic model range, the Titanium trim is packed with newer comfort and safety features like a Bluetooth enabled stereo system, speed sensing volume controls that basically adjust to the vehicle’s varying speeds and drive-away locks that automatically seal all doors when the vehicle starts moving. With an all-new beige upholstery even the overall interior look and feel is significantly more up market on the Titanium variant.
Commenting on the launch of the new Classic Titanium variant, Michael Boneham, President and Managing Director, Ford India said, “By bringing in Bluetooth telephony in this segment and integrating eight other outstanding features, we have delivered on our promise to democratize technology and add unmatched value to a reliable, fun-to-drive Ford Classic.”
Just like on all the pre-existing Ford Classic models, the high-end Titanium variant will continue to be powered by a 1.6 litre Duratec petrol engine and 1.4 litre TDCi Duratorq diesel engine, both of which have so far proven to be credible on performance and frugal in terms of overall fuel consumption. How frugal? Well as per ARAI tests, the diesel variant of the Titanium returns 32.38 kmpl, while the petrol variant a rather modest 21.27 kmpl.
The new Ford Classic Titanium Variant is available in 6 exciting new colors, namely Paprika Red, Panther Black, Diamond White, Chill Metallic, Moon Dust Silver and Sea Grey. Priced at Rs 6,86,400 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the petrol model and Rs. 7,82,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel, the feature packed new Titanium variant of the Ford Classic model comes with a 2 year / 100,000 km warranty.
