2010 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade unveiled !
Just within a month of the 2009 model of the Honda CBR1000RR being rewarded the prestigious Fast Bikes' Superbike of the Year award, Honda has displayed its range of 2010 sports models. We take a quick look at the new bikes from Honda for 2010...

Honda has unveiled the 2010 model of its litre-class contender, the CBR1000RR Fireblade. The 'Blade has always bagged top honours across the globe on various race-tracks as well as on the street for its practicality and functionality. Already awarded as the best litre-class bike for 2009 by multiple publications across the world, Honda has done fewer changes to the new 2010 CBR1000RR. The only mechanical change is the bigger diameter flywheel that offers increased inertia and results in additional performance as well as smoother power delivery.
Other changes include a revised design for the registration plate stay so the next time you are having a trackday, you can simply remove it and keep it aside without much hassle. And then there is the option to have Honda's high-tech C-ABS (Combined- Antilock Braking System). Not a significant change, but the new colour schemes designed by Honda for the 2010 'Blade gives the rather bland looking 2009 model a serious ego-boost. It is very interesting to see what a smart choice of colours and neatly drawn decals can do to a bike's character.
The new Fireblade in its Pearl Orange paint scheme looks like a menacing predator ready for the kill. Other colours include a Light Metallic Silver and the conventional Honda Red and plain Black. Honda has also displayed the 2010 model of its 600cc supersports offering, the CBR600RR. There are no mechanical changes to this superbly well-engineered and AMA Supersport championship winning machine. The CBR600RR will be available in the Pearl Orange, Black and Leyla colour schemes.
