Scania delivers its Metrolink Coaches to National Travels

The Indian arm of the Swedish bus maker, Scania Commercial Vehicles, has successfully opened its account with yet another fleet owner in Bangalore, Karnataka. After SRS Travels, the bus maker has delivered its Metrolink Coaches to National Travels.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, Anders Grundstromer, Managing Director, Scania India and Senior Vice-President, said, “I am extremely delighted that we have established relationship with National Travels, one of the leading fleet operators in the state. This association is an affirmation to Scania’s commitment towards providing sustainable transportation solutions in a large scale."

"Our Coaches are equipped with most advanced safety elements and best in class comfort features. Metrolink will address the grave issues concerning passenger safety that we are facing at the moment. In addition, the superior fuel efficiency of the vehicle will contribute to outstanding Total Operating Economy and will help in reducing CO2 emission as well,” he further adds.

Scania is establishing a complete service and dealership network in the country starting from the southern and western states. The bus maker plans to expand its wings to other geographies as well. The Metrolink Coaches delivered to National Travels will ply between Bangalore and Mumbai.
