According to the Austrian firm, the 100,000th motorcycle - a 2015 KTM 1190 Adventure – rolled off the assembly line plant.
Since 1999, when production was started, more than 1.2 million vehicles, manufactured according to the ‘Ready to Race’ philosophy, left the Mattighofen based factory.
The Austrian plant however, only accounts for a fraction of KTM’s overall sales, in terms of volumes. Smaller displacement off-road and competition bikes comprise a lot of overall sales numbers at KTM. And some of these are manufactured at KTM’s partner Bajaj Auto’s plant in India.
