Volvo XC60 Ocean Race revealed

Volvo has revealed its new limited-edition Volvo XC60 Ocean Race car at the ongoing Miami Auto Show. This special edition XC60 pays tribute to the participants who compete in the Volvo Ocean Race – an adventurous triennial yacht race which is organised by the Swedish carmaker.

The limited-edition Volvo XC60 is dressed in Ocean Blue II metallic paint and features special design elements such as Volvo Ocean Race emblems on the front fenders, inscribed ‘Volvo Ocean Race’ tread plate and sits on 18-inch alloy wheels.

On the interior front, customers can opt for black or beige leather upholstery with contrasting orange stitching. The cabin also receives special floor mats with orange stitching and Volvo Ocean Race badging.

The front-wheel drive variant is powered by a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder T6 Drive-E engine that is capable of churning out 302PS of power and 399Nm of torque. The all-wheel drive model, on the other hand, gets a turbocharged 3.0-litre six-cylinder T6 engine that delivers 300PS of power and 440Nm of torque.

The Volvo XC60 Ocean Race will go on sale in the international market with a price tag of Rs 25.9 lakh.
