Volvo cars is the Official Car Partner for Lakme Fashion Week. The designs of Volvo cars and Ritu Beri focus on the needs of customers, in line with Volvo’s ‘Designed Around You’ philosophy.
The new generation of Volvo cars sport a unique design that blends safety and style in perfect harmony. However, the gamut of technology to make vehicles safer, cleaner and more efficient can make the automobile complicated for users. Volvo’s ‘Designed Around You’ philosophy seeks to make new age technology more user friendly.
“Our synergy with Lakme Fashion Week reflects our common understanding of people and our endeavour to offer them products that are stylish, sophisticated yet personal. In keeping with our philosophy of Designed Around You, Volvo Cars will showcase fashion through a completely new prism – through the eyes of a fashion icon,” says Tomas Ernberg, Managing Director, Volvo Auto India.
The collaboration between Volvo cars and Lakme Fashion Week will indeed be beneficial to the Swedish car maker as automobile manufacturers are increasingly associating with beauty pageants, fashion shows, et al in a bid to create a greater connect with the fairer sex.
