Volkswagen concludes display of new carlines in multi cities of India

Volkswagen has completed the tour of displaying its upcoming product line-up in multiple cities of India for aspiring customers

Volkswagen had unveiled its India bound upcoming cars at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. The German manufacturer had showcased four new cars at the event in different respective segments, namely- the Ameo compact sedan, Polo GTI, Tiguan compact SUV, and the Passat GTE. With these unveils, the company had organised a display of the new carlines in different cities of India. Along with the above mentioned cars, the German manufacturer had also on display the recently launched 21st century Beetle.

This is a first of its kind initiation that has been engaged by Volkswagen which allowed customers a first-hand experience of safety, build quality, technological prowess and superior engineering of the cars manufactured. Volkswagen had carried out the display of new carlines in the cities of Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.

Commenting on the new initiative, Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are enthused by the overwhelming response received by our customers through the multiple product showcase and engaging formats across cities. This one of a kind platform, reiterates Volkswagen’s commitment towards India and is driven to create a delightful experience for its existing as well as potential customers, which are the future growth drivers.”

With the new engagement platform, the manufacturer has been able to reach out to over 1200 prospective car enthusiasts in the country allowing then to witness the upcoming cars in person. The current product line-up of Volkswagen in India consists of the Polo, Vento, Jetta and Beetle.
