Upcoming TVS-BMW motorcycle teased

In traditional BMW Motorrad tradition it has previewed the upcoming TVS-BMW motorcycle in the form of the BMW Concept Stunt G 310. The new BMW Concept Stunt G 310 was showcased in Brazil yesterday. As the name suggests the new TVS-BMW motorcycle will be powered by a 300cc displacement, liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor churning out around 30PS of power and 31Nm of peak torque. Coming back to the BMW Concept Stunt G 310, the cylinder head has been positioned towards the rider which has enabled the engineers to create a super-short wheelbase while the swingarm has been extended for better stability. Another interesting design detail is the placement of the exhaust muffler which is sandwiched between the swingarm and the frame and is mounted vertically. According to BMW by positioning at the centre they have managed to protect the silencer while not limiting the stunt rider’s freedom of movement.

The styling of the BMW Concept Stunt G 310 is similar to modern streetbikes with a front heavy design language. The brawny fuel tank, edgy radiator shrouds, beefy front forks and multi spoke alloy wheels make the motorcycle visually appealing. Another notable detail regarding the BMW Concept Stunt G 310 is the fact that the stunting-focused features were designed with the help of legendary motorcycle stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer. From the motorcycle we can confirm that the upcoming TVS-BMW motorcycle will employ USD front forks and monoshock unit at the back.

Braking will be done by disc brake at both the ends with ABS being a standard offering. Also the edgy design language indicates the fact the new TVS-BMW motorcycle will be targeted at youngsters. The TVS-BMW motorcycle will be officially unveiled at the 2015 EICMA motorcycle next month and possible India debut at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi.
