Porsche 911 Hybrid: The Long Wait

Porsche has revealed a limited-edition version of the Porsche 911 Turbo S GB to commemorate 40 years of the 911 Turbo, which first went on sale back in 1974. This limited-edition model is designed by Porsche’s personalisation department – Porsche Exclusive and only 40 units of the car will be built.
This new limited edition model features a number of enhancements in classic black such as a rear upper spoiler, Sport Classic wheels and exterior door handles. There is also a black Porsche script along the sills of this new car. The 911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition is available in a choice of three exterior colours namely silver, white or red. Inside, the black leather upholstery sports Guards Red contrasting stitching and includes an embossed Union flag on the centre storage compartment lid.
Porsche 911 Turbo S GB also gets a special kit which includes personalised carbon door sill guards, carbon fibre interior trim, including the PDK gear lever and bespoke floor mats with leather edging and decorative stitching.
Underpinning the Porsche Exclusive GB Edition is the standard 911 Turbo S’ 3.8-litre six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine, which generates 550PS of power and 700Nm of torque. Power will be transmitted to all the four wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission. This new car will sprint from 0-100kmph in 3.1 seconds with a top-speed of 320kmph.
Porsche 911 Turbo S GB will go on sale only in Europe with an approximate price tag of Rs 1.5 crore.
