Triumph Thruxton 400 Could Be Launched This Year

Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited entered the financial capital of the country as it opened the new dealership in Andheri called Shaman Triumph. The new Mumbai dealership is the sixth showroom of Triumph in our country. The British brand had opened showrooms previously at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Pune and Ahmedabad. The layout of the new showroom has been designed and styled in tune with that of global Triumph Motorcycles dealership. The showroom sports a consultation lounge, sales and after sales desks, which have been strategically placed closer to the display area. Apart from motorcycles, the Mumbai dealership will also stock official Triumph merchandise that includes riding gear, accessories and memorabilia.
Speaking at the opening, Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The opening of our dealership in Mumbai only further strengthens our commitment to not only better establish the Triumph marquee in the local market but more importantly, to extend a comprehensive suite of after sales services and support to our esteemed customers. We want to offer Triumph lovers not just a product but an overall experience that they deserve from a celebrated brand like ours. The growth of Triumph Motorcycles in India will continue to emphasize on firmly establishing a rewarding ownership experience and extending superior after sales service which ultimately underlines customer satisfaction.”
To provide effective after sales experience to customers, the staff and service engineers at the Mumbai dealership have undergone training at Triumph's training centers in Hinckley, UK. Like other global Triumph showrooms, the Mumbai dealerships and the service station are integrated with an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory. The showroom also features ‘Build your own Bike’ concept, that lets the customer to personalise and custom spec their bike to their own whim.
According to Triumph, the British motorcycle brand has been warmly welcomed by Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts as it has registered 350 bookings within five months of it entering our market. With the opening of the Mumbai dealership, Triumph is confident that the number of bookings will swell positively in the near future. To encourage camaraderie between fellow owners, Triumph has started rider groups in Bangalore and Hyderabad called the Riders association of Triumph. The iconic British two-wheeler manufacturer currently has 11 motorcycles from its international portfolio on sale in our country.
