Triumph Thruxton 400 Could Be Launched This Year

Triumph Motorcycles India Private Limited expanded its foothold in India by opening its new dealership in Kochi. The new Triumph dealership - Syamadynamic Motorcycles - is the third showroom for the British brand in the Indian market, the first two being Bangalore and Hyderabad which were launched in January this year. The new showroom has been designed and styled in tune with the global signature of Triumph Motorcycles dealership layout. It features a consultation lounge, sales and after sales desks, which have been strategically placed closer to the display area. Apart from motorcycles, the Kochi dealership will also stock official Triumph merchandise that includes riding gear, accessories and memorabilia.
Speaking at the opening of the new showroom, Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. said, “The opening of this dealership advances our commitment to not only better establish the Triumph marquee in the local market but more importantly, to extend a comprehensive suite of after sales services and support to our esteemed customers. Kochi with its vibrant culture and winding roads adjacent to the gorgeous sea makes for a perfect riding destination. With our state of the art dealership, our aim is to give the brand lovers not just a product but an overall experience that they deserve from a globally renowned brand like Triumph. “
To provide effective after sales experience to customers, the staff and service engineers at the new dealership have undergone training at Triumph's training centers in Hinckley, UK. The dealerships and the service station are integrated with an after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory. The showroom also features ‘Build your own Bike’ concept, that lets the customer to personalise and custom spec their bike. According to Triumph, the British motorcycle brand has been warmly welcomed by Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts as it has registered 326 bookings within 20 weeks of it entering our market. Triumph has further announced that as part of its nine dealerships plan for 2014, it will open three more showrooms at Mumbai, Pune and Ahmadabad by May 2. Triumph Motorcycles currently has 11 motorcycles from its international portfolio on sale in our country and it had launched the Daytona 675 at the 2014 Auto Expo.
