The British motorcycle brand has opened a new sales outlet in Pune called BU Bhandari Triumph. This is the fourth dealership of Triumph Motorcycle in India, the other three being in Bangalore and Hyderabad which were launched in January this year, and Kochi which was launched in this month.
Speaking on this occasion, Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India Pvt Ltd, says, “The opening of this dealership advances our commitment to not only better establish the Triumph marquee in the local market but more importantly, to extend a comprehensive suite of after-sales services and support to our esteemed customers. Pune has a lively biking culture with some great biking routes in and around the city. We are sure to get a great response from the enthusiasts based here. Partnering with BU Bhandhari which has a state of the art dealership, our aim is to give the brand lovers not just a product but an overall experience that they deserve from a globally renowned brand like Triumph.”
The Pune dealership has a dedicated after-sales service facility featuring service bays and a spare parts inventory. The design of the showroom is based upon the global signature Triumph Motorcycles layout with consultation lounge, sales and after sales desks all being close to the display area. The dealership also has ‘Build your own Bike’ concept in the premium and luxury motorcycle segment. The facility has an array of Triumph merchandise including riding gear, accessories and memorabilia.
Triumph Motorcycle has announced that it has clocked 335 bookings since the launch of its motorcycles in November 2013, across five model categories. Two more showrooms will be set up in Mumbai and Ahmadabad by May 3 as a part of nine dealerships planned for this year.
