Riding on sales of the highly acclaimed Suzuki Gixxer, automatic scooters Access and Let’s, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd has posted over 12 per cent growth in sales during the month of February.
Suzuki sold 30,467 units in February 2015, as opposed to 27,007 units in February 2014, recording a growth of 12.81 per cent in overall sales.
“Consumers have responded positively to the launch of new generation Swish and the Access in the past few months. The Gixxer and the Let’s have also been well received by customers and both factors have worked to our advantage,” said Atul Gupta, Executive Vice President, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd.
The Gixxer has been a runaway success for Suzuki and has won a string of motoring awards including the coveted ET ZigWheels Bike of the Year and ET ZigWheels Executive Bike of the Year awards. Suzuki has also launched an updated version of its 125cc scooter Swish in Februray 2015.
