The Czech carmaker has added eight new Black Edition models to its UK line-up. These limited edition models look striking in the black trim and are better equipped than regular models. This new special edition is available on every model in Skoda’s line-up, from the Skoda Citigo to the Skoda Superb sedan.
Based on the mid-range SE spec, the Black Edition models come with a choice of black or white paint job, black alloys, privacy glass, Amundsen SatNav, DAB, leather, cruise, floor mats, metallic paint and extra black styling detail.
The most popular Skoda Octavia also gets a Black Edition. It will be available in both Hatch and Estate body styles. Furthermore, the company will offer it with a choice of two engine options. The first one is the 2.0-litre TDI CR which is coupled with a six-speed manual or DSG automatic gearbox, and produces 140PS of power. The second one is the 2.0-litre TDI CR mated to the same gearbox, but delivering 170PS of power.
The range of Black Editions feature the following models: Skoda Citigo, Skoda Fabia, Skoda Roomster, Skoda Rapid, Skoda Rapid Spaceback, Skoda Octavia, Skoda Superb and Skoda Yeti. The Czech carmaker is, however, tight-lipped on whether these eight Black Edition models could make it to India.
