Triumph Motorcycles to enter Delhi and Chennai

Triumph Motorcycles is all-set to expand its dealership network in our country by adding two new dealerships next month. ZigWheels has learnt that Triumph Motorcycles will set shop in Delhi on June 4 and in Chennai on June 6. The dealerships in Delhi and Chennai will be the seventh and eighth showrooms respectively of the British bikemaker in our country. The new showrooms are part of the nine dealership target Triumph Motorcycles had set for itself for 2014, the last of which was inaugurated earlier this month in Mumbai.

According to Triumph, the British motorcycle brand has been warmly welcomed by Indian two-wheeler enthusiasts as it has registered 350 bookings within five months of it entering our market. And with these new dealerships, the number of bookings will swell positively in the near future. It is surprising that Triumph took so long to set shop in Delhi as its headquarters is based in Gurgaon on the outskirts of the capital city. The Delhi dealership will be the only Triumph showroom in the Northern part of the country. Currently Triumph has 11 motorcycles from its international portfolio on sale in India.
