Royal Enfield had a great outing in the month of May 2015 as it registered a sales growth of 41 per cent overall. Royal Enfield sold 35,354 units last month as opposed to 25,010 units it had managed in the corresponding month last year. Exports witnessed a growth of 48 per cent as the Chennai based bikemaker shipped out 739 units in May 2015. Year to date sales stood at 1,62,216 units as opposed to 1,13,096 units in the same time period last year which is an impressive growth of 43 per cent. Q1 2015 has been the best ever quarter at Royal Enfield, Eicher with record sales of 92,845 units, a growth of 44.5 per cent over Q1 2014.
Commenting on Royal Enfield’s performance, Siddhartha Lal, MD & CEO Eicher Motors Ltd. said, “Royal Enfield has maintained a very strong volume growth in Q1 2015 and moves ahead with an extremely healthy order book.
