The key to the success of any product is to improvise and implement necessary changes to its models based on customer feedback. KTM is one of the few manufacturers to actually take this approach of developing its products seriously in order to enhance the user experience.

The 390 Duke is one of the hottest selling models for the Austrian bike-maker in India and in a bid to make it better KTM has incorporated some very crucial changes in the 2015 models. The 373cc single-cylinder motor of the 390 Duke is quite a high revving one thanks to which a lot of users complained about heating issues when ridding in traffic. The Chakan-based motorcycle manufacturer has attended to this issue by changing the angle of the radiator fan that now directs hot air towards the bottom. The front fender design has been revised to incorporate a protector for the front forks. The quality of the rear fender too has been improved.

The rear shocks on the KTM 390 Duke were exposed so far and it caused a lot of dust and muck to settle into it, but in the 2015 models they have been given a flap protector and dust covers.

With regards to seating and ergonomics, the seat assembly has been stiffened to prevent it from touching the air-filter casing. The hand grips from the RC390 will now be used in the 390 Duke as well which has also led to a change in the RHS switch.

At the back the rear mud cover is now larger; the chain height has been increased to prevent slapping and the silencer mounting rubber too has been changed to reduce vibrations.  Aside from all the aforementioned changes, KTM has also introduced slipper clutch in the 2015 models.
