Rolls-Royce Motors registers record sales globally

The luxury carmaker has registered record sales results for the fifth consecutive year, with 4,063 cars sold globally during 2014

Rolls-Royce is riding high on success. The luxury carmaker has sold 4,063 cars globally, breaking through the 4,000 car sales level for the first time in the brand’s 111-year-old history. This exceptional achievement suggests that the West-Sussex based carmaker has more than quadrupled its sales since 2009.

The luxury carmaker reported strong sales worldwide, with double-digit growth in most regions. In North America the sales were up by 30 per cent, while sales in the Middle East rose by 20 per cent. Sales of Rolls-Royce cars shot up by 40 per cent in Europe. The US remained the company's most significant individual market, while Rolls-Royce's home market, the United Kingdom, is the company's fourth largest individual market with sales rising by 13 per cent.

Europe saw robust progress in pretty a few markets with sales in Germany shooting up by 30 per cent. The brand registered 75 per cent growth in sales in Asia Pacific and Australia. Sales of Rolls-Royce cars rose by 60 per cent in Japan and by 20 per cent in Korea. Within the Middle East, highlights included Bahrain up by 50 per cent, Kuwait up by 45 per cent and Oman up by 27 per cent. Rising markets identical to Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Vietnam all confirmed promising progress.

Bespoke Collections including Waterspeed, Pinnacle Travel and Metropolitan, and unique creations such as the Maharaja Phantom Drophead Coupe further helped Rolls-Royce to boom its sales.
