Isuzu Motors India Private Limited inaugurated its 19th dealership in the country in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and launched its D-Max pick-up and the MU-7 SUV in the state. Both these cars will be on display and sale in Madhya Pradesh via the Patwa Isuzu dealership located on Agra-Bombay Road, Dewas Naka. The Isuzu D-Max pick-up has been priced from Rs 6.90 lakh while the MU-7 SUV will cost Rs 22.41 lakh. Both prices ex-showroom, Indore.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Shigeru Wakabayashi, Deputy Managing Director, Isuzu Motors India said, “This is important move towards increasing our network in the country. Our first dealership in central India demonstrates our consistent effort in reaching our customers to offer them best-suited products for their business.”
The Isuzu MU-7 SUV comes with a 3.0-litre engine that churns 163PS of power and 360Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels with the help of a 5-speed transmission. The Japanese commercial vehicles manufacturer claims an efficiency of 12.1kmpl for the MU-7.
The D-Max on the other hand is on sale in two variants – Single Cab and Space Cab. Both these variants sport a 4-cylinder 2.5-litre turbocharged diesel unit that pumps 136PS at 3,600rpm and 294Nm between 1,800-3,200rpm. This one too is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The feature list on the D-Max is as close as it can get to any passenger car as it offers Power steering, Power windows, Centralized door lock, AC with a heater and more.
The dealership in Indore is part of Isuzu’s elaborate plan of expanding 60 dealership outlets in the country. As of now, the brand has its presence in major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and 14 other cities.
