Mahindra XUV500 bookings cross 7,200

The Mahindra XUV500 appears to be on yet another record-breaking mission. The SUV has garnered over 7,200 applications in just two days of the company re-opening bookings for the third time
Mahindra & Mahindra, India’s largest SUV manufacturer, has received over 7,200 applications for the XUV500 after re-opening of bookings on June 8, 2012. In the second phase of bookings, the company received over 25,000 applications for just 7,200 units. This is the third phase of booking for the XUV500, and the demand for the vehicle has not waned. In view of this, the car maker has increased the production to 4,000 vehicles per month and plans to increase it to 5,000 units per month by October 2012.

Initially it looked amazing now eyes are used to it, its not a very good looking vehicle actually . However, refreshed mhawk engine is definitely a smart choice, since its a Mahindra, spares and service should not be a problem
