Nissan Sunny

Nissan will take the wraps off its updated Sunny at the upcoming Indian Auto Expo next month. The Sunny receives its first update since its launch in 2011 and in its latest form will have sharp edgier styling and a lot more premium features. New headlights, chrome inserts, reprofiled bumpers and possibly a sun-roof are going to be part of the package.

Nissan also informs us that the Evalia will be displayed with improved features. The Evalia is having a hard time in positioning itself as a premium MPV to the likes of the Maruti Ertiga and as a result is falling off the sales charts. We believe the improved features will be to make the Evalia more luxurious on the inside.

The Japanese carmaker will also display an accessorized version of the Terrano, the Micra and Micra Active in its pavilion.

Giving us a peek into the future at the Nissan enclosure will be the innovative Friend-Me concept. Nissan says that although the Concept is applicable globally, it addresses social dynamics of Chinese men in their 20s specifically.

Adding some motorsport flavour to the Nissan enclosure will be the race-bred GT-R GT500. This car won the Japanese Super GT championship in the GT500 class. Hall 12 at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida will house the Nissan pavilion.
