To add a little more colour to this festive season, Mahindra Renault has just launched a spiced-up version of the Logan. Since its launch in 2007, the Logan has won many accolades and has offered great value for money, but the styling still left a little to be desired. But thankfully, the Mahindra Renault JV is making up for this with this upgrade.
Called the Logan Play, this new version comes with a lot of visual garnish and seems to be designed to add some much needed youthful and sporty appeal to this mid-size sedan.
The Logan Play is available in a choice of two colour options - Black and White, and sports bold body graphics on the sides which are a bit reminiscent of the newly launched Mitsubishi Cedia Sports. The same bold design cues are also carried over on the front and rear bumpers as well and the Mahindra Renault offer a choice of either red or silver alloy wheels. Body coloured parking sensors and outer door handles, a chrome muffler cutter and chrome front grille complete the picture.
The Logan's interiors too get some upgrades in the form of black leather seats and black floor mats with red trim on both, a chrome-finished gear knob while the centre fascia and end rack get some carbon fibre finish treatment. The Logan Play also gets a music system as standard. As for the cost of all this extra kit, the new Logan Play is priced at Rs. 5,53,231 for the 1.4 GLX petrol and Rs. 6,85,916 for the DLX diesel (both ex-showroom Ahmedabad).
But it's not just new fancy visual upgrades this festive season. Mahindra Renault is also offering guaranteed prizes for every potential buyer. All one has to do is test drive the Logan to avail of exciting gifts such as 0.99-percent or 6.99-percent interest on a loan or even an iPod. All entries are eligible for a lucky draw which will see select winners receive an LCD TV, while two grand prize winners will get a free Logan Play.
