With the ever popular Indica celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Tata Motors has just launched a Limited Edition version of its second edition Indica, the Vista. We take a closer look at this exclusive car.

When Tata launched the second generation of its flagship car, the Indica, this year, it really caught everyone by surprise. With a new design and build quality easily comparable to anything from the foreign auto makers, this new Indica completely broke away from the image its predecessor had built in the past years. Now though, Tata is determined to keep this new model away from its call centre cab motif and showcase it as a completely up-market product deserving of a top spot in the evolving Indian market. And to prove this, the company has launched a limited edition version of the car to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Indica.

This Limited Edition Indica Vista comes in a funky new two tone colour scheme, with a Porcelain White and a Black roof, which is somewhat reminiscent of the current colour schemes available from a certain Italian supercar maker. But in any case, the new paint job looks absolutely smashing coupled with dark gray alloy wheels which come as standard on this car. The Limited Edition Indica Vista also comes adorned with a gold finished grill garnish, golden emblems and mascots, and also a specially designed number-plate. And this special treatment is not just limited to the insides, with a new integrated music system, new seat fabrics along with a plethora of other bits to make the insides feel just as special. The Anniversary Quadrajet Diesel Indica Vista is priced at Rs. 5,04,045 (ex-showroom Delhi) while the petrol version is priced at Rs. 4,15,263 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Tata Motors, which is India's largest automobile company, has truly gone global in the last few years, thanks to ownership of brands like Jaguar and Land Rover, as well as operations in the UK, South Korea, Thailand and Spain. The launch of this Limited Edition Indica Vista is a step in the right direction to prove Tata’s status as an international player. And with nearly one million Indicas produced in the last ten years, this car promises exclusivity on the road like no other.
