To meet the increasing demand for internet on the go, MTS will now provide with free high speed mobile internet to customers boarding Meru cabs.

A new value-add service designed for all you people commuting via Meru cabs, especially the net-savvy ones, is here. So even if you are stuck in hours of jams and have an important message to convey in the meeting, all you need to do is simply ask the cab driver for an MBlaze dongle to enjoy free internet surfing along with an unlimited data download.

The service presently will be offered only to people of Delhi and Mumbai. Going forward, Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) plans to launch similar services in other major cities including Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

"At MTS, our endeavour is to constantly excite and delight data users. Our partnership with Meru Cabs has been specially designed to offer seamless data connectivity to users on the go, both in Delhi and in Mumbai," said Leonid Musatov, Chief Marketing Officer, Sistema Shyam Teleservices Limited (SSTL).

Also, with the Cricket World Cup on, such a service would enable cricket enthusiasts travelling through the city to connect their laptops via mobile broadband and check out the latest match scores and updates too.

SSTL is a joint venture between Sistema of Russia and the Shyam Group of India and operates its telecom services under the MTS brand.
