Mini Superleggera Vision concept is set to make its world premiere at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, at Lake Como, Italy. This model in question has been co-created by design and coach building house Touring Superleggera based in Milan. Mini Superleggera will be showcased alongside its parent company, BMW's Vision Future Luxury concept, which was recently revealed at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, and Rolls-Royce's new Phantom Drophead Coupé Waterspeed.

The striking two-seater features a rounded front-end design, with circular headlights and a gaping hexagonal grille. The concept car gets a stretched hood, long wheelbase, short overhangs as well as taillights that look like a Union Jack divided in two. The taillights were styled that way to express the car’s British roots while also emphasising the modern LED technology already used in the new Mini hatchback.

Mini has provided the Superleggera Vision with a simple cabin that aims to capture the essence of classic coachwork construction. It is elegantly equipped with leather upholstery, a bare aluminium-covered dashboard, a digital instrument cluster and an analogue clock. The door panels have tubular inserts that resemble a Union Jack, and add a dash of quirkiness to the car.

Mini did not mention anything about the car’s powerplant but they did confirm that the Superleggera Vision is an electric vehicle that uses a single electric motor.
