Mercedes-Benz opens shop in Nashik

Mercedes-Benz has inaugurated a new outlet in Nashik. This new dealership is called Indisch Motoren. This facility was inaugurated by Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz India, and Om Moharir, Managing Director, Indisch Motoren. This is the Three Pointed Star’s 13th outlet in Maharashtra and 66th in the country.

Speaking on this occasion, Kern said, “We planned to inaugurate 14 new outlets this year and continue to have the densest network in the country, for any luxury carmaker. Inauguration of Indisch Motoren underlines our commitment for our growing customer base in emerging markets like Nashik, which will be key growth drivers in the long-term for the brand. . With our partners Indisch Motoren, we are confident of providing an unparalleled luxury car ownership experience to our discerning customers.”

This new dealership sprawls a good 54,000 sq ft and was created within a span of eight months with an investment of Rs 10 crore. This new outlet will offer facilities such as a luxurious customer lounge, plush Cafe Mercedes, a service facility featuring 14 bays along with 11 cars on display.

The German automaker has recorded a growth of 16 per cent in Q3 of 2014. Mercedes-Benz India also grew by 47 per cent in the fiscal year 2013-14 by selling more than 9,500 cars in India.
