Mercedes-Benz E-Class gets additional equipment

The new Model Year 16 Mercedes-Benz E-Class gets a new multimedia system, reverse parking camera and optionally available Garmin Map Pilot navigation. The E-Class is the highest selling luxury sedan in India as well as the highest selling Mercedes-Benz in India

Mercedes-Benz E-Class MY 16

Mercedes-Benz has introduced the new MY (Model Year) 16 E-Class with enhanced equipment,  including new telematics multimedia system, reverse camera and optionally available Garmin Map Pilot navigation.

The E 200 is priced at 48.50 lakhs, the E 250 CDI is priced at 50.70 lakhs and the E 350 CDI is priced at 59.90 lakhs (prices ex-showroom Delhi) and is available for sales in Mercedes-Benz dealerships across the country.

The new Telematics multimedia system on the MY 16 E-Class combines entertainment, infotainment and communication. This Audio 20 Telematics is equipped with internet capability, pre installation for navigation, radio, Bluetooth and CD player.

The system offers USB ports and a SD card slot in the centre console and navigation pre-installation for Garmin Map Pilot navigation. Then there's the integrated media interface port for iPod or iPhone and a Bluetooth interface with hands-free function and audio streaming for playing music files.

The new MY 16 E-Class also comes equipped with a reverse camera which facilitates comfortable reverse parking and manoeuvring. The dynamic guide lines assist the driver with driving manoeuvres and adds to the convenience while parking.

The E-Class is the largest selling model in the Mercedes-Benz portfolio globally, accounting for more than 13 million E-Class sedans and estates sold worldwide. In India, more than 30,000 units have been sold till date.
