With the inaugural Indian Grand Prix approaching Vodafone has contributed to the F1 fever by showcasing a replica of the current MP4-26 McLaren Mercedes Formula One car that Louis Hamilton is driving this season
The replica of the McLaren Mercedes MP4-26 is generating quite a stir at Infinity Towers, Gurgaon today. There was an entry form on which people could fill in their contact details and a lucky draw would select two contestants who would win tickets to the inaugural Indian Formula One Grand Prix. There were impromptu contests held and the winners got a chance to get up close with the replica Formula One car and have their pictures taken. The replica of the McLaren Mercedes MP4-26 will also be showcased at DLF Square, Gurgaon on the 29th of this month and at Global Foyer, Gurgaon on the 30th of this month.
Vodafone announced the launch of two different contests along with the showcase of the car. The first contest is called, ‘Vodafone Race to Fame- Life in the fast lane’ where 4 winners (2 consumers and 2 global enterprise customers) who will get a chance to spend the weekend with the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team during the Formula One event. The second contest is called ‘Vodafone Drive into the Big League’ this contest extends an opportunity to small and medium enterprises to have their logo on the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes Formula One car in the Formula One Indian Grand Prix.
