Maserati’s sport coupe, the GranTurismo has won rave reviews ever since its inception in 2007. It has also spawned a long string of variants which not only sport better and higher trim level but also mightier performance. Ironically, like in most sportscars the quickest and the most expensive version is also the one which is stripped of all luxuries. The line up starts with the GranTurismo, GranTurismo S, GranTurismo S Automatic, GranCabrio, GranCabrio Sport and the GranTurismo Sport.
The Geneva Motor Show is all set to show us an all new GranTurismo Sport. Major changes involve a functionally redesigned new front bumper that optimizes the front air flow for the engine and breaks cooling as well. A new design of the bumper with a new style profile frames the new headlights with DRL Led technology. The rear of the new GranTurismo Sport is characterized by new taillights in an elegant, more aggressive, darker tone. A significant restyling also characterizes the interiors of the car with completely redesigned front and rear seats and a new steering wheel with a more sporty and muscular look.
On the engine front, the new GranTurismo Sport will see a further improvement in performance thanks to its new 4.7 liter V8 engine now capable to delivering 460 PS compared to the earlier 434 PS. Hotter, more luxurious in the true sense and not to mention faster, the all new GranTurismo Sport is sure to make a grand impression.
