Maruti Suzuki will Open Nexa Dealership for Premium Car Offerings

Maruti Suzuki will start all-new Nexa dealerships that will be reserved only for premium car offerings like the upcoming S-Cross, Vitara and the upcoming YRA premium hatchback. Maruti Suzuki will not sell the Ciaz sedan at the Nexa dealership as it will be sold through the humungous network of standard Maruti Suzuki dealerships in the country

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

Maruti Suzuki unveiled the S-Cross premium crossover officially in India. At the unveiling event, Maruti officials also announced that the new S-Cross and other future premium car models will be sold through an exclusive chain of showrooms christened Nexa. The new Maruti Suzuki Nexa showroom is the first modern retail channel for the largest carmaker in India. Maruti Suzuki will not sell the Ciaz sedan at the Nexa dealership as it will be sold through the humungous network of standard Maruti Suzuki dealerships in the country. The new Nexa dealership concept will help in Maruti Suzuki distinguishing itself from the budget carmaker tag that it has been normally associated with. Owing to this fact, it has struggled to penetrate the Rs 10 lakh plus car market in the past and the new dealership has been strategized to address this issue.

The decor and ambience of the Nexa store will be that of any modern automotive showroom similar to the one of premium carmakers. There will be luxury lounges and infotainment systems for prospective customers. Also according to Maruti what sets the Nexa store apart is the fact that it will be a combination of traditional buying experience with an influx of technology. Each customer at the Nexa dealership will be aided by a personal relationship manager to help them with the purchase process and also the servicing requirement. The Nexa showrooms will have a wall mounted display that will be connected to an iPad that will be loaded with all the information on the automotive industry. If the prospective client desires to view competition models to finalise his buying decision he can do so. As for service, the Nexa dealership offers the customer a choice of mobile workshop visiting his residence alongwith a pick and drop service or the traditional visit to the service center. Maruti plans to open more 100 Nexa dealerships in more than 30 Indian cities by end of the financial year.
