Firstly, the new S-Cross will not be sold out of normal Maruti showrooms but instead out of the all-new NEXA showrooms that will deal with the more exclusive and more expensive offerings by Maruti. This of course will also eventually include the likes of the YRA hatchback and the YBA/XA Alpha SUV. The S-Cross also heralds the long awaited and highly needed arrival of the 1.6-litre multijet diesel engine. The S-Cross is available with two engine options, a 1.4-litre diesel engine and a 1.6-litre diesel engine both of which have been mated to a manual gearbox and front wheel drive.
