Maruti Alto 800 VXi gets optional airbag

Maruti Suzuki has introduced driver-side airbag as an option on the top-end VXi variant of the Alto 800. The Vxi trim was launched in June this year. 
 
In addition to the features of the LXi, the VXi comes with central locking, an integrated stereo with USB, Aux-In and four speakers, a much needed internally adjustable outside rear view mirror (left), door side mouldings, a rear spoiler and full wheel covers. It also has an accessory socket, a rear parcel tray and a new centre garnish for the integrated audio system.
 
The optional driver-side airbag is now available on both LXi and VXi variants at an extra cost of Rs 16,000. Below is the detailed pricing for the Alto 800 (ex-showroom Delhi):
