Mahindra Centuro at MIMS 2015

One of the youngest two-wheeler brands in the Indian automotive space made its presence felt at the Mumbai International Motor Show 2015 by displaying their scooters and motorcycles. At the Mahindra stall there was their latest 110cc motorcycle offering, the Centuro, a motorcycle that has proven to be a pretty interesting offering in this class of bikes. With a comfortable ride quality and ample of features, the Centuro has found some success in the competitive commuter segment of motorcycles.

Alongside the Centuro, was Mahindra’s latest offering in the scooter segment. Launched last year, the Gusto sports a 110cc unit that makes 8 horses of power and 9Nm of torque. The Gusto hasn’t really brought the kind of effect on the sales charts as Mahindra would have liked mainly due to its weight. That said, the height adjustable seat is surely a smart feature. Aside from the Gusto, Mahindra had the Rodeo UZO on display as well. The 125cc offering that was launched last year is a premium version of the standard Rodeo and can be distinguished by the new graphics running across the body and coloured wheels.

Aside from these two, Mahindra also flaunted the JC moto modified cafe racer version of the Centuro, all with a hand built fuel tank, upside down forks and aluminium tail section.
