Mahindra Two Wheelers is planning to introduce as many as four new products later this year, including a new scooter, an entry level motorcycle and variants of existing products.
Mahindra Two Wheelers Chief of Operations Viren Popli is quoted to have said in an interview that there could be three to four product launches later this year.
"These will include variants of existing products, a new scooter and also we are looking at the 100-110 cc motorcycle segment," Popli is quoted to have said.
Mahindra’s eagerly-awaited 300cc motorcycle Mojo is also slated to be among the products to be launched later this year. After posting a whopping 83 per cent increase in domestic sales year-on-year in June, the company is looking to scale up presence in the market.
"We have been on a stabilisation mode putting our infrastructure in place in the last one year. With a series of launches in both domestic and international markets, we are now looking at rapid growth," Popli added.
The company is aiming to treble its exports in the next six months with plans to enter four new international markets by the end of the year. This will include Mahindra Two Wheelers entering countries like Colombia and Nigeria and markets adjoining these two countries.
