The two wheeler division of the Mahindra Group, Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. (MTWL), announced its sales figures rising 15 percent from April to July 2011 with 45,228 units of the two wheelers sold compared to last year’s 39,291 units making an eight percent growth year-on-year.
“We are witnessing higher growth momentum on the back of increasing consumer preference for our scooter brands in many key markets across the country,” said Mr. Anoop Mathur, President - Two Wheeler Sector and Member of the Group Executive Board.
The combined sales for the company have crossed the two and a half lakh mark, with the primary contribution from its power scooter category, the Mahindra Rodeo and Mahindra Duro.
