Mahindra Two Wheelers sold 13,197 units in the month of April, 2015. Out of the total 13,197 units, domestic sales compromised of 11,502 units whereas 1,695 units were exported. Mahindra Two Wheelers had sold 15,845 units in the same month last year out of which 14,896 units were sold in the domestic market. This means that sales for Mahindra Two wheelers have slid down by close to 17 per cent.
Mahindra had high hopes on its indigenously developed 110cc Gusto. But sadly for the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer the Gusto hasn’t been able to penetrate the market as expected despite the fact a new variant was introduced recently. Mahindra will be banking on the Mojo which has been delayed a lot for reviving its fortunes but whether it will happen or not only time will tell.
