2024 Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Looks Production Ready In This Spy Shot

Mahindra Racing had unveiled its latest and technologically advanced Formula E and MotoGP bike at the 2016 Auto Expo. But race machines are meant for the track and Mahindra Racing had done justice to it by having a demonstration of the new M2Electro racing car and the MGP30 racing motorcycle at the Buddh International Circuit. Both the high-power performance oriented machines are examples of Mahindra’s growth in technical knowledge and further commitment to racing. Mahindra aims to build a global recognition and admiration of the brand. The M2Electro is an electric race car which will be seen competing in Formula E electric racing car championship. The new MGP30 by Mahindra is a race spec motorcycle and will do battle in the MotoGP world motorcycle racing championship.
Mahindra Racing M2Electro Electric Racing Car:
Developed by Mahindra Racing the M2Electro is a second generation electric racing car. The M2Electro will compete in the second season of the Formula E car championship. Designed with priority set on increased performance, energy efficiency and weight saving, the electric race car is capable of achieving blistering acceleration of 0-100kmph in less than 3 seconds. Mahindra is one of the few manufacturers to develop an all new electric drivetrain for the series. The data reports and reading which the team receives as the car performs under different conditions will be used to develop the next generation electric road cars. The future electric cars which roll out of the Mahindra factory will follow the vision of the ‘Future of Mobility’ with vehicle that are clean, clever, convenient, cost-effective and connected.
The M2Electro has cleared all pre-allocated test days proving to be a fast and reliable car, and has successfully run over 2,000kms on the track before the pre-season testing had begun. The M2Electro is piloted by well-known F1 drivers Bruno Senna and Nick Heifeld. There are two Formula E cars allotted to each driver in every race event. The driver has to swap cars during the mandatory pitstop after completing the race half way.
Mahindra Racing MGP30 Racing Motorcycle:
The MGP30 is a new motorcycle with a fresh engine, gearbox and aerodynamic package which are followed by several improvements to the frame and electrical components. The bike sports a dual exhaust system which has been developed by Arrow offering greater performance figures.
The MGP30 motorbike will be run by Team Apar, a factory entry outfit. Moreover, three teams who are customers to Mahindra will have six more MGP30 bikes racing on the grid: Team CIP, the Outox Reset Drink Team, and MTA Team Italia. In addition, SP racing, a Peugeot Motorcycles factory team will be seen competing in the Moto3 World Championship on a MGP30 derived Peugeot bike.
