Mahindra Two Wheelers today unveiled the Gusto 125 at a press conference. The Gusto 125 is a more powerful version of the outgoing smaller variant, the Gusto 110. The Gusto 125 is powered by a new 124.6cc 4-stroke petrol engine producing 8.6PS of power and 10Nm of torque, mated to a variable roller track CVT transmission.
Apart from the engine, the new scooter borrows features like height adjustable seat, remote flip key, front kick mechanism, LED pilot lamps with the follow-me-home headlamps from the Gusto 110. The Gusto 125 will have 130 mm drum brakes at both ends for stopping power mounted on 12-inch tubeless tyres.
The Gusto 125 will be available across all authorised Mahindra Two Wheeler dealerships by the end of February. The Mahindra Gusto 125 gets a sticker job to differentiate it from the 110 variant. The Gusto 125 will be available to choose from four colour options- Orange Rush, Bolt White, Monarch Black and Regal Rod. The Gusto 125 will be priced marginally higher than the Gusto 110, and competitively enough to take on Honda Activa 125 and Suzuki Access 125. We expect the Gusto 125 to be priced Rs 7-8 thousand higher than the existing variant.
