The 1130 PS wielding Koinegsegg Agera R is the most mental Koenigsegg till date. Koineggsegg's test driver Robert Serwanski has bagged the fourth Guinness World Record for the Swedish car maker with their newest and most powerful car, the Agera R

It’s very easy to present performance figures but ever so often we fail to relate them to real world performance. To give you an idea of the feat the Agera R has achieved here is a comparison. It takes a diesel Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire over 14.5 seconds to go from 0-100 km/h, whereas the Koenigsegg Agera R takes 14.53 seconds to go from 0-300 km/h. We think the point is well made.

Both acceleration and braking times of the Agera R were considered for the World Record. The Koenigsegg Agera R was made to accelerate from 0-300 km/h, once it got there the brakes were stomped on to bring the car to a halt.

Without further ado here are the figures that have taken the Koenigsegg  Agera R into the record books,

0-300 km/h = 14.53 sec

300-0 km/h = 6.66 sec

0-300-0 km/h = 21.19 sec

The World Record in the books will show the 0-300-0 time of 21.19 seconds.

Here is what the owner of Koenigsegg, Christian Von Koenigsegg had to say, ““We had high hopes when we set out to do this record. But the end result was truly astonishing. This is Koenigsegg´s 4th Guinness World Record since 2003 and it shows our continued commitment to build Hypercars that deliver beyond expectations.”
