The Kawasaki Ninja H2R will debut at the Isle of Man TT, to be ridden by James Hillier in a parade lap of the mountain course on June 10.

Thirty-year-old Hillier is one of very few riders to circulate the 37 mountain course at over 209kmph average. Hillier has been invited by Kawasaki Motors UK and the TT festival organizers to ride the 300PS plus machione as part of a Monster Energy parade lap.

“I’ve seen the road going Ninja H2 at Bournemouth Kawasaki where the Quattro Plant team is based but this is something else altogether,” said Hillier, who was trusted to transport the machine to the TT paddock. “I can’t wait to hear the sound echo around the first part of the course and then let it rip up the mountain mile – it’s going to be a mega experience!”

The Quatrro Plant Kawasaki racer will be part of the star-studded parade lap that includes World Superbike Championship racers like Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes. But only Hillier, the current lap record holder in the Lightweight TT class, will have the honor of riding the H2R.

Supercharged Kawasaki Ninja H2R

The exclusive Ninja H2R is one of a very limited production run by Kawasaki that has been created using the company's unique aerospace and gas turbine technology as well as the enthusiasm of the motorcycle division. The raucously loud and visually intimidating Ninja H2R is yet another "must see" feature of the 2015 IOMTT festival.

The road legal version of the Ninja H2R - the Kawasaki Ninja H2 - has already been launched in India at an ex-showroom Delhi price of Rs 29 lakh in April. The bike will be sold in limited numbers and the first H2 in India has already been bought by Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni.
