Kawasaki has announced pricing for the Kawasaki Ninja H2 motorcycle in the UK market and the power output of the Ninja H2R hyperbike

The Kawasaki H2 is without a shadow of doubt among the most important motorcycles to be unveiled in 2014. The bike had made its debut at the 2014 EICMA motorcycle show earlier this month in Italy but pricing details wasn’t divulged. Now though Kawasaki has announced that the Ninja H2 will retail for Rs 21.3 lakh in the UK motorcycle market with sales commencing from March 2015. Also, the UK-spec Kawasaki Ninja H2 will be offered with a Akrapovic curved carbon fibre three dimensional muffler as a standard fitting.

The Kawasaki H2 is a road-spec motorcycle and is powered by a 998cc, liquid-cooled, supercharged inline-four motor producing 200PS at 11,000rpm and peak torque of 113.5Nm at 10,500rpm. The Kawasaki H2 will be offered with an option of Ram Air that hikes the power output to 210PS. The Kawasaki Ninja H2 is expected to head to our shores by early 2015 and will be priced around Rs 30 lakh in the Indian two-wheeler market. (More details on Kawasaki H2: Kawasaki H2 showcased)

Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Kawasaki also announced pricing and the power output for the Ninja H2R track-only motorcycle that made its international debut at the 2014 INTERMOT motorcycle show. At the unveiling, Kawasaki had announced that the supercharged motor churns out in excess of 300PS but now the Japanese two-wheeler giant has revealed that the bike pumps out an eye-popping 312PS in stock form and 330PS with Ram Air. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R will be offered with a front and rear paddock stands, pair of tyre warmers and Akrapovic sourced exhaust system as standard offerings. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R has been priced at a whopping Rs 39.56 lakh in the UK market and will be available only in limited numbers to maintain exclusivity.
