Jay Leno buys a Tata Nano!

American petrolhead Jay Leno adds a tri-colour Tata Nano to his priceless collection of some of the finest automobiles on the planet
American petrolhead and host of the Tonight Show, Jay Leno, has a huge car collection to which he has just added a Tata Nano. The white Nano is the top-of-the-line LX model sporting body coloured bumpers, front power windows, fog lamps, central locking, air conditioning. alloy wheels and a tri-colour paint theme.
Leno donned a sherwani and joined his hands for a ‘namaste’ to pose in front of his new Tata Nano with the Indian flag in the background. To add an Indian touch there were Indian dancers swaying to Bollywood tunes on the occasion.
Leno’s massive car collection includes everything from classic cars to electric vehicles, hybrids, pick-up trucks performance cars, muscle cars, super cars, hypercars, luxury cars, uber luxury cars and priceless exotics. The Nano will hold its special place as the world’s cheapest car in the collection. Leno also owns a Royal Enfield Bullet.
The Tata Nano has a rear mounted 624cc petrol engine that develops 38PS of power and 51Nm of torque. The Nano has a top whack of 105km/h and takes a leisurely 26.83 seconds to get there.
Leno is in sync with the times when it comes to the importance of alternate fuel and sustainable means of energy. The Nano with its low emissions, affordable price tag and 18.3kmpl mileage has carved out a segment of its own.
