Jaguar F-Type
After exhaustive testing, Jaguar has finally revealed pictures of its production ready F-Type convertible sports car. With its long swooping bonnet, old fashioned cloth roof and power sent to the rear wheels the F-Type is one of those cars that has a fan following even before it hits the market.
With the recipe ready set, Jaguar is now waiting for the 2012 Paris Motor Show where it will showcase the rather fantastic F-Type. Jaguar is rightly confident that the F-Type convertible sports car will be quite a significant vehicle for the company.
The Jaguar F-Type will be on offer with a choice of two petrol engines and three power output options. The 3.0-litre supercharged Jaguar V6 engine will be offered in two states of tune, 340PS of power and 380PS of power. The other engine in question is Jaguar’s 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol that develops in excess of 500PS of power, it remains to be seen how much it will be tuned to deliver in the F-Type. However, it will be able to go from 0-100km/h in less than 5 seconds and onwards to a top speed in excess of 288km/h.
All three engines will be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox that will send power to the rear wheels of the car. Of course, there will be different settings for the gearbox that will adjust gear change ferocity and offer manual settings to allow drivers to change gears when they want to.
"As its sporting forebears did in their era, the F-Type will break new ground by delivering stunning sports car performance while vividly demonstrating Jaguar's cutting-edge engineering technologies and world-class design excellence. The next step in Jaguar's sporting bloodline is about to become reality,” said Adrian Hallmark, Global Brand Director, Jaguar Cars.
Keeping with the Jaguar range of cars the F-Type will undoubtedly be another fantastic driver’s car. We hope to see it on our shores soon.

This can only happen with Rattan Tata. I do not want him retire because (1) he is fully fit (2) no one can substitute him.
